The catamaran of the FRS Helgoline docks in Cuxhaven at the Alte Liebe. Here you can not only take the "Halunder Jet" to Helgoland, you can also watch the large container ships sailing to Hamburg or back. There are also some cafés and shops where you can linger. A loudspeaker system informs you about the size and origin of the passing ships.

Directly behind the dike at the Alte Liebe you will find chargeable parking spaces. You can pay via a coin machine.
Arrival with public transportation
By train you can reach the station in Cuxhaven from Hamburg with the line R5 from "Start Unterelbe" or from Bremerhaven (Buxtehude) with the line RB33. The bus line 1006 goes from Cuxhaven station directly to the bus stop "Alte Liebe". Alternatively, you can also use the service "Anrufpflichtigen Dienst" (AST lines 1306, 1308, 1351, 1354).
